TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Costa Rica Cellular Connection LLC and the client agree to the following terms and conditions.
GENERAL TERMS
- There will be no refunds issued for problems with coverage or other external issues.
- A lost, stolen, broken, or damaged phone will result in a $100.00 charge. A lost or stolen phone charger will result in a $30 charge. If a cell phone is lost or stolen the customer must call or email CRCC as soon as possible at crcc@costaricacellularconnection.com or at 8876-1776. The customer will be charged for all calls up to the time of phone deactivation. A lost or stolen phone will not be replaced.
- If the customer receives a phone in the US or Canada, the phone must be sent back to Costa Rica Cellular Connection within 3 days of the end of the trip, using the prepaid postage that is included with the phone. After 3 days, a $10/day charge will be applied.
A. STANDARD PLAN
- Costa Rica Cellular Connection will run a $200.00 authorization on the credit card for equipment and outstanding balances.
- $60.00 (per phone), will be charged immediately for account activation, plus shipping/delivery which the customer agrees to pay. The activation fee is good for up to 30 days. Long term rentals pay the activation fee every 30 days. The activation fee includes free text messaging and free voicemail. Payment can be in the form of a credit card. (Visa, MasterCard, America Express, Discovery) The customer agrees that all charges will be debited to the given credit card automatically.
- Monthly billing applies for long term rentals. Costa Rica Cellular Connection will do everything in its power to bill the customer as soon as possible, but the process could take up to 60 days. CRCC reserves the right to bill at its discretion, during the duration of the rental and afterwards. All billing is done through email; CRCC will email a detailed invoice to the customers email address as soon as it has been processed. The customer’s bill will be debited from the credit card provided.
- The customer agrees to be accountable for all local outgoing (within Costa Rica) calls at .23 cents per minute.
- The customer agrees to be accountable for all international outgoing calls to the USA, Canada or Mexico, at .69 cents per minute outgoing.
- The customer agrees to be accountable for all international calls to South, and Central America and The Caribbean at $1.05 per minute outgoing.
- The customer agrees to be accountable for all international calls to Europe, Australia and New Zeeland, at $1.15 per minute outgoing.
- The customer agrees to be accountable for all international calls to anywhere else in the world, at $1.65 per minute outgoing.
- Incoming calls available plans are:
1) The customer agrees to be accountable for all incoming calls (local and international) at .23 cents per minute.
2) The customer agrees to be accountable for all incoming calls for a fee of $30.00, for unlimited incoming calls for a period of up to 30 days.
B. SHORT TERM PLAN
- Costa Rica Cellular Connection will run a $200.00 authorization on the credit card for equipment and outstanding balances.
- Short Term rentals are $10 per day, per phone. This fee includes all local outgoing calls (within Costa Rica), all incoming calls (local and international), free text messaging and free voicemail. The total amount of days will be charged at the beginning of the rental plus the shipping and delivery which the customer agrees to pay.
- Payment can be in the form of a credit card. (Visa, MasterCard, America Express, Discovery) The customer agrees that all charges will be debited to the given credit card automatically.
- At the end the rental the customer will be charged for all outgoing international minutes used.
- Costa Rica Cellular Connection will do everything in its power to bill the customer as soon as possible, but the process could take up to 60 days. CRCC reserves the right to bill at its discretion, during the duration of the rental and afterwards. All billing is done through email; CRCC will email a detailed invoice to the customers email address as soon as it has been processed. C. LONG TERM PLAN (FOR RENTALS OF TWO OR MORE MONTHS)
- Costa Rica Cellular Connection will run a $200.00 authorization on the credit card for equipment and outstanding balances.
- $80.00 (per phone), will be charged immediately for account activation and unlimited incoming calls, plus shipping/delivery which the customer agrees to pay. The activation fee is good for up to 30 days. Long term rentals pay the monthly fee $80 every 30 days. The activation fee includes free text messaging and free voicemail and unlimited incoming calls. Payment can be in the form of a credit card. (Visa, MasterCard, America Express, Discovery) The customer agrees that all charges will be debited to the given credit card automatically.

D. PREPAID PLAN
- Costa Rica Cellular Connection will run a $200.00 authorization on the credit card for equipment and outstanding balances.
- For rental periods up to 30 days $70.00 (per phone), will be charged immediately for account activation, plus shipping/delivery which the customer agrees to pay. The Activation includes free unlimited incoming calls. The activation fee is good for up to 30 days. Long term rentals pay the activation fee every 30 days.
- For rental periods of up to 10 days $50 (per phone) will be charged immediately for account activation, plus shipping/delivery which the customer agrees to pay. The Activation includes free unlimited incoming calls.
- Payment can be in the form of a credit card. (Visa, MasterCard, America Express, Discovery) The customer agrees that all charges will be debited to the given credit card automatically. All billing is done through email; CRCC will email a detailed invoice to the customers email address as soon as it has been processed. The customer’s bill will be debited from the credit card provided.
- CRCC will not be able to provide call logs for the airtime used. The customer must keep track of their own usage.
- Prepaid phones are available only in Costa Rica for delivery upon your arrival. CRCC will make sure the customer receives the phone at the customer’s desired location and date.

Customer can choose the following plans for outgoing minutes:
Minutes Option 1: $20 for 35 international minutes to the USA and Canada or 135 local minutes within CR. Minutes expire after 30 days.
Minutes Option 2: $38 for 75 international minutes to the USA and Canada or 290 local minutes within CR. - Minutes expire after 30 days.
- Prepaid phones are reloadable at any time by contacting CRCC, via email, text, or phone. Minutes can be purchased in the same packages as above ($20 or $38) and will be billed and charged to the credit card on file.
- Unused minutes are not refundable.
